Existing Conditions...

This house had been remodeled many times since it was first built.   Most of those times, not very well.

The last remodel ( the one that we did 15 years ago) we think was pretty darn great.   we liked a lot of the details, though even in such a short time it felt a bit dated.   We tried to find ways to keep this work and build around it, but this was not a complete remodel 15 years ago, just like none of the others were either.   This makes doing a serious, quality job impossible if you are piecing everything together.

We decided after much deliberation that the only way to do this house justice was to approach the home as a whole instead of as a piecemeal project.

We miss some of the details that were here, but think the finished product will make up for this loss.
